Mud pump

Single-stage single-suction mud pump is a centrifugal pump used to transport mud or sludge containing solid particles. It is usually composed of a pump body, impeller, bearing box, bearing, sealing device, etc.

Single stage means that the impeller of the pump has only one level, that is, there are no multiple levels of impeller between the suction end and the discharge end of the pump. Single suction means that the suction end of the pump has only one inlet caliber, and the suction end and the discharge end of the pump are on the same side.

The working principle of the single-stage single-suction mud pump is to generate centrifugal force through the rotation of the impeller, and the mud or sludge is sucked from the suction end of the pump, and then discharged through the pump body and the discharge outlet. The impeller of the pump usually has a wider blade in order to be able to transport a medium containing solid particles.

Single-stage single-suction mud pump is widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, construction, environmental protection and other fields, used to transport media containing coal gangue, slag, sludge, sediment and other solid particles. It has the characteristics of simple structure, easy maintenance, large conveying capacity, good wear resistance and so on.

It should be noted that the single-stage single-suction mud pump needs to select the appropriate material, sealing method and pump parameters according to the nature and working condition requirements of the specific medium during use to ensure the normal operation and service life of the pump.
