Energy-saving and consumption-reducing measures for centrifugal pumps

2021-10-20
The centrifugal pump is a kind of vane pump, relying on the rotating impeller in the process of rotation, due to the interaction of the vane and the liquid, the vane transfers mechanical energy to the liquid, so that the pressure energy of the liquid is increased, and the purpose of transporting the liquid is achieved. The function transfers the mechanical energy of the prime mover to the liquid. What are the energy saving and consumption reduction measures for centrifugal pumps?

1. Improve the efficiency of centrifugal pumps

The first step is to compare the selection schemes of various suppliers during the selection, and try to choose the most efficient scheme under the premise of considering the cost performance;

The second step is to send a certain professional staff to the factory to supervise the production quality of the key components that affect the efficiency of the pump, such as the impeller, pump body, pump cover, deflector (vertical long axis pump), etc., especially for the impeller The quality of the airfoil, water outlet angle, blade indexing, runner shape, smoothness and other quality is controlled, so that the delivered product is a high-efficiency product under the current production conditions.

The third step is to ensure that the foundation of the pump is solid, well aligned with the driver, front and rear valve switches are flexible, pipeline layout design is reasonable, site control is safe and feasible, and all operation monitoring instruments are complete and accurate. The running process of the pump can be monitored in real time.

The fourth step is to pay attention to the spot inspection of the equipment during the long-term operation of the pump, and report the abnormal situation immediately. In the normal minor repair and overhaul cycle, the wearing parts should be inspected and replaced to ensure the long-term efficiency and safety of the pump. Running.

2, optimize the existing pump

By adjusting the diameter of the impeller and the speed of the pump, it will affect the flow head and shaft power of the pump, but has no effect on the efficiency curve, so that the pump can work in the high-efficiency area. The above adjustment flow and head are all limited in a certain range. If the working conditions change too much, the original pump may need to be modified.
